Gateway components are wired up in wiring diagrams by Domain Experts just like other components, but they contain code built by the Developers to connect to services in the Domain and Presentation layers.

In the application demo you saw, the Presentation-Layer gateway components on the right were the projectors. The Domain-Layer gateway components on the left were the database components; I’ll show these next.
